| The Uniform Resale Shop has moved! It is now located at 4036 Montwood Lane (please enter through the driveway). The shop will be open from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on September 10. | ||
| September 10 - ESDPA Speaker Series: Jennifer Breheny Wallace | ||

Join us for an engaging presentation by Jennifer Breheny Wallace, author of Never Enough: When Achievement Culture Becomes Toxic—and What We Can Do About It. This year's ESDPA Speaker Series will be held on September 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Bray Theater. Below are some of the key points that will be covered at this event:

Back-to-School Night is an excellent opportunity for upper school parents to meet their child's teachers, learn about their classes, and ask questions. Let's get ready for school!
** There is a 5-minute passing period between each class. Study Hall will be in the Study Commons. |

| September 18 - Alumni Culture and Community Celebration | ||
|
The ESD Alumni Association invites you to attend our Alumni Culture & Community Celebration, featuring alumna Luisa Navarro '08, on Thursday, September 18, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at ESD! Luisa will be joining us to celebrate the launch of her debut book, Mexico’s Day of the Dead: A Celebration of Life Through Stories and Photos. Signed copies of her book will be available for purchase, and we'll have lunch bites, refreshments, and a special gift from CocoAndré, Chocolatier & Horchateria. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Luisa, learn more about the vibrant traditions of Día de Muertos, and celebrate her incredible accomplishment. | September 22-26 - Childhood Cancer Awareness Week | ||

T-shirts can be purchased from the TeamIzzy Foundation to wear in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Week. Using the button below, select "ESD" in the drop-down; please include the following information in the notes at checkout:
All shirts must be ordered by Monday, September 22 to be delivered on time. Shirts can be worn on Friday, September 26. Middle and Upper School students can wear uniform bottoms with a "Go Gold" t-shirt or any shirt that is majority yellow with uniform socks and shoes. |

We have made changes to our current service learning program graduation requirements. Some of these changes include:
Specific changes in the student handbook and Upper School Community Service Guidelines can be found in Schoology or on our Community Service Learning page.
