50th Anniversary - The Episcopal School of Dallas | Best Private Schools in Dallas

The Episcopal School of Dallas was founded on the belief that every child is made in the image of a loving God.

Upon that foundation, a restless and compelling priest, talented and devoted faculty and staff, tireless area leaders, and dedicated parents eager to support a unique educational experience for their children built one of the greatest success stories in Texas.

Today, 50 years since its humble beginning in 1974, The Episcopal School of Dallas continues to fulfill its mission by providing children a faith-informed education that prepares them for lives of intellectual discovery, integrity, and purpose. The first 50 years is only the beginning. As we look toward the future with the ESD2030 strategic plan as our guide, we will build on our incredibly strong foundation for future generations of ESD students.

Throughout the coming school year, we invite you to look back at ESD’s founding and the remarkable 50 years that followed. Below are key dates for larger community events and activities. News and information about other happenings will be shared as the new school year begins.
