Through the generosity of ESD community members, we now have a total of 134 endowed funds, currently valued at approximately $37,000,000.

Endowments in Support of Best Faculty and Staff

Sherri Turner Alexander Athletic Department Faculty Endowment Fund
Established in 2005 by Jerry C. Alexander in celebration of the birthday of his wife, Sherri Turner Alexander, this endowment fund provides support for faculty salaries and benefits for athletic department faculty members and coaches at The Episcopal School of Dallas.  An annual award recognizing academic and athletic excellence is awarded in conjunction with this endowment.  The Stephen B. Swann Scholar Athlete Award is presented annually to a senior exhibiting overall academic excellence and superior achievement in athletics.  This award is given to the student who best exemplifies the characteristics of a true scholar/athlete through their commitment to excellent grades in the classroom, outstanding performance on the playing field, and high morals and ethics in both arenas.

Hafida and David L. Baad Endowment for Faculty 
Created in 2020 in honor of Hafida and David Baad, the Board of Directors established this endowment in affirmation of the commitment and unfailing leadership of David L. Baad during his tenure as Head of School at ESD. The funds generated by this endowment will support faculty needs as identified by the Head of School.

Caldwell Teacher Endowment
Established in 1981 by Mrs. Winifred Caldwell, grandmother of Josef “Beau” Caldwell, Jr. ’90, Charles P. Caldwell ’90, and Jane B. Caldwell Jackson ’87, to provide support for compensation, enrichment, benefits, and training of ESD faculty and staff.

Clark Family Endowment Fund 
Established in 2013 by Nita and Cullum Clark and the Vin and Caren Prothro Foundation, this fund’s earnings are designated for ESD’s strategic priority on leadership and endows the Head of Upper School position.

The Comer Family Endowment* 
Created in 2023 by Sarah and Collin Comer, this endowment generates revenue for Faculty and Staff salaries in support of ESD 2030 strategic plan priorities.

The Custard Family Endowment 
This endowment established by Mason and Allen Custard in 2015, and enhanced by Mr. and Mrs. William A. Custard in 2018, provides support for faculty development and academic programming at ESD.

Decade III Faculty/Staff Endowment
Established as part of the capital campaign that included the construction of the Gail B. and Dan W. Cook III Math/Science/Technology center and created with a challenge grant from the Carl B. and Florence E. King Foundation, to provide support for the hiring and retention of outstanding faculty and staff members.

ESDPA - 50th and Beyond Endowment Fund*
Established in 2023, this endowment supports the strategic plan, ESD 2030, emphasizing three vital areas:  great educators in every facet of school life, ESDistinction - a curriculum of purpose, and maintaining strong community. Additionally, this gift honors the important role Ruth Burke has had at ESD and endows the Associate Head of School position, ensuring we will have strong leadership for generations to come.

Hohmann Family Faculty Endowment Fund 
Established by Monique and Stephen Hohmann in 2019, this endowment supports faculty professional development/summer enrichment.

Dedo and Barron Kidd Endowment Fund
Created in 1991 by Mr. and Mrs. Barron Kidd to provide endowment for faculty.

The Lamont Family Endowment 
Created by Hallie and Max Lamont in 2019, this fund will support professional development for faculty to strengthen The Episcopal School of Dallas as a preeminent educational resource for the children of Dallas.

The Nicolette and Miles Lamont Family Endowment 
Established in 2020 by Nicolette and Miles Lamont, this fund supports faculty recruitment efforts with primary emphasis on Lower School teachers.

W.P. and Bulah Luse Foundation Faculty Endowment Fund
Established in 2007 by the W.P. and Bulah Luse Foundation to provide support for the salaries and benefits of faculty.

Charlene C. and Tom F. Marsh Faculty Endowment Fund
Established in 2007 by Charlene and Tom Marsh, parents of Charles Marsh ’95, this endowment provides support for faculty salaries and benefits for faculty and staff members at The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Curtis Mathes Teacher Endowment
Established in memory of Curtis Mathes by his wife, Mrs. Melinda Mathes, through the Curtis Mathes Foundation, this fund provides financial support for faculty.

McGaughy Family Endowment for Faculty Development 
Created by Emily and Kent McGaughy in 2017 for the furtherance of shared professional growth opportunities for ESD faculty and to raise awareness for individualized student experiences.

The Elsie Monette Teacher Endowment Fund
Established in 1971 to honor retired St. Michael’s School Head Mrs. Elsie Monette, this fund provides for the enhancement of faculty and staff compensation.

Diane and Jack Nealon Family Endowment 
In appreciation of ESD’s outstanding teachers and their dedication to students and families, the Diane and Jack Nealon family established this fund for professional development and educational support for ESD faculty.

The Thomas H. and Judy A. Neuhoff Faculty Endowment Fund
Created by Judy and Thomas Neuhoff in 1994 to enhance teachers’ salaries and benefits.

Parents’ Association Faculty Endowment
Established in 1993 by The Episcopal School of Dallas Parents’ Association to supplement the operating budget for faculty salaries and benefits.

The Tim and Mary Rooney Family Endowment 
Established by Tim and Mary Rooney, annual distributions from this fund support faculty salaries, benefits and professional development; with first priority given to the disciplines of Mathematics and Science. 

The Sands Family Endowment
Leigh and Storm Sands established this endowment in alignment with ESD's commitment to enrolling the best students possible, regardless of financial circumstances. The revenue generated by this endowment provides tuition assistance for Middle and Upper School students of proven ability and involvement in the academic and extracurricular opportunities presented at ESD. 

The Reverend Stephen B. Swann Headmaster Endowment
Established in 2007 by Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Beecherl, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Milledge A. Hart III, this endowment provides a source of income to support the salary of the Head of School as well as perpetuating the Founding Tenets of the school.

The Vroom Family Endowment Fund*
Created in 2023 by Anne Clayton and Bunky Vroom to ensure The Episcopal School of Dallas attracts, develops and retains an exceptional teaching staff. This fund endows ESD’s inaugural Distinguished Teacher Chair recognizing a teacher who has earned their place among the best in their field.

Ashley and Bryan Whitworth Family Endowment*
Established in 2023, this endowment generates revenue for salary support for best in class faculty and staff at The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Wooldridge Math Chair
Established in 1986 by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wooldridge to support an endowed chair in the math department.

Endowments in Support of Best Students

25th Reunion Class Endowed Scholarship Fund
Initially established by the graduating Class of 2009, and enhanced in 2019 by the 25th Reunion Class, this endowment supports tuition assistance for children of alumni.

The Baldwin Family Permanent Endowment Fund 
Alumna Lauren Speyer Baldwin '04 and husband Benjamin Baldwin created this endowment in 2021 supporting need-based tuition assistance due to extenuating family medical circumstances.

Laurie and Sands Chipman Tuition Assistance Fund 
Established in 2017, this endowment provides revenue in support of tuition assistance to help ensure talented students, from all backgrounds, with financial need have the opportunity for an ESD education.

The Dr. Anson L. Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established by The Clark Foundation in 1982 to provide permanent support to The Episcopal School of Dallas scholarship program for qualified and needy candidates to attend the Lower and Middle School.

Decade III Financial Aid Endowment
Established as part of the capital campaign that included the construction of the Gail B. and Dan W. Cook III Math/Science/Technology center, this fund provides financial aid for qualified students.

Dwight and Vera Dunlevie Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2000 in honor of Mr. Dwight Dunlevie, retired Middle School Head, and enhanced by memorial gifts from family and friends in 2006-2007, this endowment provides competitive scholarships for two students in the Upper School.

Esping Family Endowment 
Heather and Bill Esping established this endowment fund to support the Tuition Assistance program for students with demonstrated financial need and deserving of an ESD education.

The Forsythe Fund
Established in 1993 by lifetime director Mr. Earl Forsythe and his wife, Janet, for financial aid.

Mr. and Mrs. Barney L. Giles Scholarship Fund
Established in 1984 by Mr. and Mrs. Barney Giles to provide a permanent scholarship and financial aid fund.

The Carmen and Don Godwin Family Endowment Fund 
In recognition of the value of an ESD education, the Godwin’s created this endowment in 2021, to fund the Godwin Family Scholarship providing tuition assistance for students with demonstrated need and first preference given to single parent households. 

Ida M. Green Scholarship Fund
Established from a bequest of the Estate of Mrs. Ida M. Green in 1987 for financial aid endowment.

Elizabeth Tichenor Greening Endowment Fund for Tuition Assistance*
Established in memory of Elizabeth Greening, by a grant from The Iris and Lloyd Webre Foundation in 2023, to support tuition assistance and related school expenses for qualified students.

Margaret Beck Grinnan Scholarship Fund
Created in 1983 by Mr. Henry C. Beck, Jr., Mr. Lewis Grinnan, Jr., and Mrs. Neall Grinnan Rose to help defray tuition expenses for deserving students with financial need.

Gregory Yale Gudis Memorial Fund
Established in 1985 by Mr. and Mrs. Mal Gudis, family and friends to honor the memory of Gregory Yale Gudis ’85, this fund provides a program of financial assistance for deserving students with financial need.

Frank M. and Sarah A. Hamlin Endowment 
Established to provide dual-purpose support for ESD’s strategic priorities as designated by the Head of School and tuition and non-tuition assistance for qualified students.

Koonsman Family Endowment 
Established in 2018 by Laura and Greg Koonsman to generate revenue for tuition assistance for deserving students who would otherwise be unable to attend ESD.

The Lewis Family Endowment 
Established by the M&T Foundation in 2017, in honor of Melissa and Nick Lewis, to provide non-tuition financial support to students who otherwise would not be able to attend The Episcopal School of Dallas.

The Massey Family Endowment 
Established in 2018 by Emily and Todd Massey to support tuition assistance for students of merit with demonstrated financial need.

The McCabe Family Tuition Assistance Fund 
Libby and Murray McCabe established this fund in recognition of the importance and value of an ESD education. Revenue from this fund will provide tuition assistance for qualified students, unable to cover tuition and related school expenses, but are deserving of an education of the caliber ESD can provide.

The McManemin Family Tuition Assistance Fund
Established in honor of Kate '02, Maggie '04, Michael '07 and Ryan '11 to support student financial aid.

Paula and Jon Mosle Jr. Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 for financial aid support by Mr. and Mrs. Jon Mosle Jr. through the Communities Foundation of Texas and enhanced by memorial gifts from family and friends in 2015.

The Lauren and Jonathan Napper Permanent Endowment Fund 
Established in 2021 by Lauren and Jonathan Napper to provide tuition assistance to an incoming 9th grade student, with demonstrated financial need, of solid academic ability and an active participant in an interscholastic sport at ESD.

Christy A. and David Carr Nichols Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund was established in 1984 by Ms. Catherine Ann Carr in honor of her children, Christy and David.

The Sarah and Ross Perot Jr. Family Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund 
Established in 2018 by Sarah and Ross Perot Jr. and their daughters, Sarah Catherine '09 and Meredith '13, this endowment generates revenue for tuition assistance for qualified students enrolling at ESD, with preference given to graduates of St. Philip’s School.

Samuel Adam Prinz Memorial Fund
Created in memory of Adam Prinz ’99 by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen P. Prinz, and brother Mr. Andrew Prinz ‘98, as well as family and friends, this fund provides student financial aid.

The Scholarship Endowment Fund
Established in 1976 by The St. Michael’s School to provide financial aid for qualified students.

Searcy Family Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2009, and enhanced in 2015, by Ginny and Conner Searcy, this endowment provides a competitive four-year scholarship for a student entering the 9th grade.

Anne Perkins Shutt Financial Aid Endowment Fund
Created in 1985 by lifetime director Mrs. Nancy P. Shutt and her husband Mr. George A. Shutt and enhanced by memorial gifts from family and friends in 2006-2007 in honor of their daughter, this fund serves as an unrestricted scholarship endowment fund, with special consideration given for students of diverse backgrounds as appropriate.

David D. Steere Financial Aid Endowment
Established by Mr. and Mrs. George A. Shutt, Mrs. Cherie Steere Wells, and friends and family in memory of David D. Steere to provide financial aid for qualified students.

John M. Stemmons, Jr. Memorial
Established by The Stemmons Foundation in 1991 in memory of Mr. John M. Stemmons, Jr., an ESD board of directors member from 1975 – 1980, this endowment provides financial aid for qualified students.

Lynn Dupree Tull Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2004 by Mr. Kirk Pond and Mrs. Nancy St. John Pond in memory of Middle School faculty member Lynn Tull, this scholarship provides tuition support for a Middle School student entering the 5th or 7th grade who has demonstrated financial need.

The Walker Tuition Assistance Endowment 
Created in 2018 by Stacey and Reid Walker to provide tuition assistance for qualified students with demonstrated need and meriting an ESD education.

Mary Elizabeth Williams Endowed Alumni Scholarship
Established by friends and family of Mary Elizabeth Williams ’82, this scholarship fund provides financial aid for qualified children of The Episcopal School of Dallas’ alumni.

Witte Family Endowment for Tuition Assistance 
Created in 2016 by board member, Lucy Aston Witte ’86, and her husband, Don Witte. InI recognition of the importance and value of an ESD education, this endowment provides revenue in support of tuition assistance for deserving students with financial need.

Women of St. Michael and All Angels Scholarship Fund
Established in 1984 by the Women of St. Michael and All Angels Church to provide scholarship financial aid to qualified students.

William and Sylvia Zale Foundation Financial Aid Fund
Established in 2006 by the William and Sylvia Zale Foundation to provide financial aid for students of diverse backgrounds.

Endowments in Support of Learning and Teaching

The Megan Girard Allday Lecture Series
Created by Mr. and Mrs. James K. Appleton to honor alumna Megan Girard Allday ‘83 and provide for an annual lecture program.

William Anton Auberty Memorial Music Endowment 
Created in memory of Will Auberty ’13 by his parents Melissa and Frederic Auberty, along with memorial donations from friends and family, in recognition of the importance of art and music in academic life. This endowment supports instrumental and vocal music programs at ESD.

The Coit Family Endowment Fund*
Joy and Matt Coit ’90 established this endowment in 2022 in support of ESDistiction Academic Network development relating to the field of Computer Science/Cyber Security.

Michael J. Collins Visiting Scholar Program
Established by Michael Collins through The James M. Collins Foundation in 1999 to fund visiting scholars in the humanities.

The Bill Cook Endowment Fund 
Established in 2018 by Grace Cook to honor the 35-year academic teaching career of her father at ESD, this fund supports a visiting writers’ program to benefit Middle School students.

Robert H. Dedman Lecture Series Endowment Fund
Created in 2004 by the Dedman Foundation, through the Communities Foundation of Texas, to honor the memory of Robert H. Dedman, grandfather of Jonathan Dietz ’03, Christina Dietz ’09 and Jeffrey Dietz ‘14.  This lecture series, held twice a year for Upper School students, provides a forum for students to meet and learn leadership skills from community leaders.

The Eastin Family WORX Endowment Fund 
Created in 2021, Monica and Joe Eastin established this endowment to name and provide annual distributions for support of the Eastin Family WORX Program at ESD.

The Felder Family Permanent Endowment Fund 
Established in 2021 by the Family of William D. Felder, the funds earnings are designated for ESD's Outdoor Education Program and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) teaching.

The Hyatt Family Permanent Endowment Fund
In 2022, Caitlin and Mike Hyatt created this endowment whose annual distributions support the Middle School “Learning Table” providing accessible academic enrichment for students.

The Peter Lutken and Eddie Eason Outdoor Program Endowment* 
Emphasizing outdoor education's importance in each student's development through learning and experiences in the world around them. This endowment established in 2023 by an anonymous donor preserves a unique tradition of the school, the Outdoor Program, and honors the teaching and legacy of Peter Lutken and Eddie Eason.

The Nedra Niles Endowment Fund
Created in 1964 to honor Nedra Niles, this endowment provides academic enrichment for Lower School students.

Oglesby/Allison Student Managed Investment Fund Endowment 
Recognizing the importance of outstanding academic programming at ESD, Peggy and Richard Allison, Wendy and Edward Oglesby ‘90, and Holly and John Oglesby established this endowment in 2018 to provide Upper School students with hands-on equity analysis and portfolio management experience.

The Ornani Family Permanent Endowment Fund 
Elizabeth and Damian Ornani created this endowment to bolster academic programming and Learning Support services focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) subjects.

The Puckett Family Endowment 
Created in 2016 by board member, Beth Puckett, and her husband, J. P. Puckett III, to provide for programming that promotes Servant Leadership and Community Service.

Riddick Family Endowment 
Created in 2018, this endowment supports computer science programming at ESD.

The Sacks Family Fund “Fore” Eagles* 
Created in 2023 by Paula and Jon Sacks, this endowment will generate revenue to support and enhance the ESD Golf Program.

Seay-Lutken Outdoor Endowment 
Established in 2015 by the ESD Senior Class of 2014 and The Stephen M. Seay Foundation to preserve the environment and support educational opportunities at ESD for place based/experiential outdoor education.

The Simpson Family Permanent Endowment Fund*
The Simpson Family Permanent Endowment Fund* - Kiki and William Simpson established this endowment in 2022 to support the school’s strategic priority ESD 2030 involving development of ESDistinction academic networks promoting educational excellence and quality student engagement. The fund endows and names the position of Director of Emotional Wellness and Learning Support. 

Smith Family Endowment for Innovation in Lower School Sciences 
Established by Cameron and Clay Smith, this endowment will generate income to support an integrated science strategy in the Lower School and make accessible the training, materials, and technological resources necessary to implement programs with science-based, hands-on, real-world learning for students during their formative years.

Mary Williams Cross Memorial
Created by friends and family of Mary Elizabeth Williams ’82 to purchase awards for annual recognition of accomplishments of two outstanding 4th grade students.

Elizabeth Anne Worsham Endowed Visiting Authors Fund
Created in 2004 by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph I. Worsham II, friends and family in memory of Elizabeth Anne Worsham, this endowment funds an annual program for visiting authors at the Lower School.

The Yao Family Endowment Fund*
In recognition of the importance of Fine Arts programming as a crucial part of the ESD educational experience, in 2023 Christine Chen and Jonathan Yao established this fund to generate sustained support for the Strings Program at ESD.

Established in 2018 for general endowment support of The Episcopal School of Dallas. 

The Louis A. and Julie T. Beecherl Perpetual Endowment Fund
Established in 1993 by lifetime director Mr. Louis A. Beecherl and his wife, Julia, for general endowment support of The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Thomas L. Bockholt Memorial Fund
Created to honor the memory of ESD parent, Thomas L. Bockholt, this fund provides general operating support.

Boeckman Family Endowment Fund 
Established by Laura and Dan Boeckman as a statement of support for the mission of The Episcopal School of Dallas and to help insure the School’s financial stability and sustainability. 

The Kelsey and David Council Davidson Jr. '05 Family Endowment Fund*
In recognition of the impact of ESD in the lives of their family, Kelsey and David Davidson ‘05 established this endowment to provide unrestricted support for ESD.

The Dockery Family Endowment*

Eleanor Kaye Durham Family Endowment 
Established in 2018 for unrestricted operating support and sustained financial stability of The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Bess and Ted Enloe Endowment Fund
Established by Mr. and Mrs. R. Ted Enloe in 2010 to help provide maintenance funds for the Stephen B. Swann Athletic and Wellness Center.

ESD Student Council Endowment Fund 
Established in 2022 by the Student Council in support of The Campaign for The Episcopal School of Dallas - Together, We Will, this fund will provide unrestricted operating support for ESD.

Fletcher Family Endowment 
Established in 2017 for unrestricted endowment support of The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Susan M. Frank Center for Arts and Humanities Maintenance Fund
Established under the Legacy capital campaign during the planning and construction of the facility, this fund provides for the maintenance of the Susan M. Frank Center for Arts and Humanities.

Ida M. Green General Fund
Created from a bequest of the Estate of Mrs. Ida M. Green in 1987 for unrestricted endowment.

Linda and Mitch Hart Permanent Reserve Fund
Established in 2001 by Mr. and Mrs. Milledge A. Hart as a permanent reserve fund for facilities maintenance.

The Kline Family Foundation Endowment 
Established in 2015 by board member, Caren Whiteman Kline, and her husband, Peter Kline, to provide unrestricted operating support for ESD.

The Langston Family Endowment 
Established in 2018 by the Langston family for unrestricted endowment support of The Episcopal School of Dallas.

The Suzanne and James Lipscomb Family Endowment 
Established in 2016 as a statement of support for the high quality education provided by The Episcopal School of Dallas, this fund provides unrestricted operating support for ESD.

The Eugene McDermott Foundation Endowment Fund
Established by the Eugene McDermott Foundation in 2000 to provide unrestricted operating support.

The McKnight Endowment 
Established in 2021 by Amy and Drew McKnight, this endowment generates revenue for unrestricted operating support for ESD.

The McManemin Family Wellness Fund
Established in honor of Kate '02, Maggie '04, Michael '07 and Ryan '11 to help provide maintenance funds for the Stephen B. Swann Athletic and Wellness Center.

The McNeill Family Permanent Endowment Fund 
Established in 2021 by Mary and Todd McNeill for unrestricted operating support and sustained financial stability of The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Whitney and Morgan Muse Endowment Fund
Established by Mr. and Mrs. John R. Muse in 2010 to help provide maintenance funds for the Stephen B. Swann Athletic and Wellness Center.

Sarah and Ross Perot Jr. Endowment Fund    
Established in 2004 by the Sarah and Ross Perot Jr. Foundation to provide general program support.

Roberts Family Endowment 
Established in 2019, this endowment provides unrestricted operating support for ESD.

The Ken Schnitzer Endowment 
Established in 2014 by Ken Schnitzer, this endowment provides unrestricted operating support for ESD.

The Wilson Schoellkopf ’89 Family Endowment*
Created in 2023, by Lynde and Wilson Schoellkopf, this endowment generates general operating support for The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Smith Family Endowment
Established by Mr. and Mrs. Clay Smith in 2004 to help provide maintenance funds for the Susan M. Frank Center for Arts and Humanities.

Stemmons Foundation Endowment 
Honoring the longtime relationship between The Reverend Canon Stephen B. Swann and the Stemmons family, this fund established in 2020, provides unrestricted operating support for ESD and includes the naming of the Senior Chaplain Position

Samuel Barge Thomas Endowment Fund
Established in 2004 to help provide maintenance funds for the Susan M. Frank Center for Arts and Humanities.

The Tolleson Family Permanent Endowment Fund 
Established by Kacy and Carter Tolleson to provide unrestricted operating support and fortify the financial stability and sustainability of The Episcopal School of Dallas.

The Troutt Field Endowment 
Established in 2017 by Lisa and Kenny Troutt in recognition of the education received by their children Preston, Grant, and Savannah, distributions from this endowment will support maintenance, repairs and upgrades to Troutt Field.

The E. Paul and Helen Buck Waggoner Foundation Endowment 
Established in 2017 by Helen and Gene Willingham in honor of their grandson, Johnny Willingham '25, to provide unrestricted support toward the financial stability and sustainability of The Episcopal School of Dallas.

Joellen Wood Memorial Endowment Fund
Established in 2013 by Thomas Wood in memory of his wife, former faculty member, Joellen Wood.  This endowment provides unrestricted operating support for ESD.

Yandell Family Endowment 
Established in 2015 by Mr. L. Pitts Yandell ’87 and Mrs. Kelly D. Yandell, this endowment generates revenue for unrestricted use toward the highest needs and priorities at ESD.

Mark and Sherry Yeaman Endowment 
Established by Sherry and Mark Yeaman as a statement of support for the mission of The Episcopal School of Dallas and to help insure the School’s financial stability and sustainability.

All Saints Chapel Maintenance Fund
Established under the Legacy capital campaign during the planning and construction of All Saints Chapel, this fund supports ongoing maintenance needs for the chapel.

Isabel Cranfill Campbell Scholarship Fund
Established by Mrs. Mona Campbell Munson in 1998 in honor of her mother to support financial aid for children of Episcopal clergy.

The William Plack Carr, Sr. Family Chapel Endowment Fund
Established in 2006 by Mrs. W. Plack Carr, Sr. and Ms. Catherine Anne Carr, this fund supports ongoing maintenance needs for the chapel.

The Michael & Wynnell Collins Community Service Award Endowment
Created in 1997 by The James M. Collins Foundation to honor the achievements of students who uphold the Founding Tenet of community service.

Earl A. Forsythe and Janet Kendall Forsythe Chapel Endowment Fund
Established in 2001 by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsythe to offset maintenance expenses for All Saints Chapel.

Grogan Family Endowment 
Created in 2016 by Whitney and Jay Grogan, distributions from this endowment support the Chapel and Sacred Music Programs at ESD emphasizing Episcopal Identity for Lower, Middle, and Upper School students.

Hobson Family Endowment 
Established in 2015 to enrich the spiritual development for our youngest students and provide perpetual support for Chapel programming, speakers and events for Lower School.

The Amanda Muse Neuhoff Lower School Chaplain Endowment Fund 
Established in 2021 with an outpouring of memorial gifts from family and friends honoring the legacy of ESD parent Amanda Neuhoff P’17,’19,’21,‘24. This fund names and endows The Amanda Muse Neuhoff Lower School Chaplain position.

Newsom Family Endowed Fund 
Created by ESD board member, Shannon Newsom and her husband Andrew Newsom, to provide financial support for a speakers’ program in Religious Life addressing topics in the areas of religious and social thought, faith, and social justice in keeping with ESD’s statement on Episcopal Identity.

The Sachs Family Endowment 
Established in support of ESD’s school-wide Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to enhance professional development, programming and awareness of religious diversity within our community.

St. Philips Scholarship Fund
Established in 1993 by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Halsey to provide financial aid for students of diverse backgrounds, with preference given to graduates of St. Philip’s School.

The Bishop and Mrs. James Monte Stanton Scholarship Fund
Established by The Episcopal Foundation in honor of the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and his wife, this fund provides financial aid support for graduates of St. Philip’s School enrolled at The Episcopal School of Dallas.

The Swann Family Endowment 
As Founding Rector and Headmaster of The Episcopal School of Dallas and supporter of faith-informed education, The Reverend Canon and Mrs. Stephen B. Swann and his family established this endowment to support the Senior Chaplain position at ESD.
