Arnold Family Gift Enhances Civic Education

The Episcopal School of Dallas is pleased to announce a generous endowment gift from Dana and Michael Arnold to create the Michael and Dana Arnold Civic Education Endowment. Motivated by their experience within the school community, the Arnold family contribution reflects their deep commitment to fostering civic responsibility and ensuring the school’s long-term sustainability.
“We were inspired to give because of our two children, who have been part of the school community for five years,” Dana Arnold shared. “From the beginning, the school has emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and instilling a sense of individual responsibility. This focus on civics and philanthropy resonates deeply with our family values, as we believe in the power of community involvement and the ability to make a positive impact. As our children continue to grow with the school, we see the lasting importance of these principles in shaping their futures.”
This gift is specifically designated to enhance civic education, with a focus on deepening students’ understanding of our nations and state’s history, encouraging community involvement, and fostering an appreciation for the impact of civic engagement. They believe this initiative is vital for helping students explore traditional constitutional principles and their role in shaping both local and national communities.
